Imagine a World...

Where fleets deliver, serve, and travel without leaving CO₂ emissions behind. In this world, sustainability isn't just a promise—but a measurable outcome. Carbon Vortex is making that vision a reality through compact, vehicle-integrated carbon capture technology that effectively keeps CO₂ out of the atmosphere, paving the way for sustainable transportation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to close the gap between clean ambition and real-world CO₂ emissions. Carbon Vortex is developing technology that keeps carbon dioxide out of the air—not by shifting the problem, but by addressing it where it begins. We aim to accelerate a more balanced energy transition by making carbon capture feasible for every fleet on the road, paving the way for sustainable transportation.

CO₂Vortex is built around collaboration to promote sustainable transportation. Our initial focus is on: Commercial and municipal fleets – Delivery, service, and specialty vehicles that follow repeatable routes and return to a depot while reducing CO₂ emissions. Vehicle manufacturers and upfitters – Partners seeking differentiated low-carbon offerings for customers who cannot yet fully electrify and are looking for solutions that include carbon capture. Infrastructure and climate partners – Organizations interested in handling, utilizing, or permanently storing captured CO₂ to mitigate climate impact. If you operate or support fleets and are exploring next-generation decarbonization tools, particularly in carbon capture, we would welcome a conversation.

Every major shift begins with a shared conviction—that the future must be cleaner, smarter, and within reach. At CarbonVortex, we’re building a new model for how carbon capture can work: practical, mobile, and real. But progress depends on partnership. We invite innovators, fleet operators, investors, researchers, and policymakers to collaborate with us in reshaping how the world thinks about CO₂ emissions and sustainable transportation. Whether you’re advancing new materials, optimizing logistics, or seeking meaningful climate investment, your work belongs in this ecosystem. Our mission is simple: turn carbon from waste into possibility. Your expertise and resources can help accelerate that transformation.

Road transportation is one of the largest sources of CO₂ emissions worldwide. While electrification is essential for achieving sustainable transportation, many fleets—facing challenges like long routes, heavy payloads, and limited charging infrastructure—will take years to fully convert. In the meantime, millions of internal-combustion and hybrid vehicles will remain on the road. Without effective carbon capture solutions to address their exhaust, these vehicles will continue emitting carbon throughout their useful life. CO₂Vortex focuses on this critical gap: finding ways to meaningfully reduce emissions from the vehicles that cannot be replaced or electrified overnight.

CO₂Vortex is developing a vehicle-integrated system that effectively captures a significant share of CO₂ emissions produced during operation and safely stores it on board for later handling at the depot. Our approach focuses on sustainable transportation by: integrating into the vehicle as a compact module designed to coexist with existing powertrain and safety systems; capturing carbon during normal driving without requiring the driver to change habits or manage new controls; storing the captured CO₂ in a dense, transportable form that can be removed and handled at fleet depots or partner facilities; and utilizing established industrial principles, adapted for the size, weight, and safety requirements of road vehicles. We are not attempting to redesign the entire vehicle; rather, we are adding a focused capability: turning each mile driven into an opportunity to capture carbon that would otherwise be released.

Mobile carbon capture is not a silver bullet, but it can serve as an important tool for fleets facing increasing pressure from: Climate and ESG commitments – Companies have established public emissions targets that encompass their vehicle operations. Regulation and carbon pricing – Jurisdictions are progressing toward stricter emissions standards, low-carbon fuel regulations, and potential carbon costs in the road sector. Customer expectations – Shippers, consumers, and public agencies are increasingly favoring partners that promote sustainable transportation with low-carbon logistics. By implementing carbon capture at the vehicle level and aggregating CO₂ emissions at the depot, fleets may be able to: Reduce reported emissions from existing vehicles, Prepare for emerging regulatory frameworks and low-carbon standards, and Unlock future revenue or savings opportunities if carbon markets, credits, or incentives apply. Our goal is to provide a solution that is both technically sound and economically rational: emissions reduction that aligns with real-world fleet constraints.
